I visited Beckside Spa this week and as always it didn’t disappoint .

I had a chemical peel facial treatment, and it was absolutely amazing. After what felt like a long winter of hibernating, my skin was dull and in serious need of some TLC. The treatment completely refreshed and revived my complexion — I walked out feeling glowing, confident, and like myself again.

As always Jo was welcoming from the moment I arrived. She always makes me feel comfortable, relaxed, and I know I’m in very safe hands. She explained everything clearly and made the whole experience feel personal as well as being so professional

If you’re looking for a boost after the colder months, I can’t recommend Beckside Spa enough. A truly lovely experience from start to finish!

We visited for the first time today for my sisters birthday. It was unbelievable, so tranquil and the treatments we received were wonderful. I will be returning as soon as possible.

The attention detail is incredible, flowers to look at whilst you’re getting your massage, slippers, dressing gown, blankets. They really couldn’t have thought of anything else!

The afternoon tea was beautiful and presented perfectly.

The alpacas were so friendly and wanted to get in on our girls day but also happy to give us space.

Jo & Michaela were beautiful women, so attentive, friendly and warm. I would return just for a catch up with these ladies.

I really cannot wait to return, you really have something so special. Thank you also much for having us and making or bridey and us bridesmaids have the most perfect spa day!

Jo has created a beautiful sanctuary of peace, tranquility and relaxation. The spa setting is stunning overlooking the Yorkshire countryside and her lovely alpacas.

We have visited a few times now and each time are warmly welcomed and Jo’s attention to detail means we want for nothing.

The treatments are outstanding, tailored to your individual needs using high quality skin products. Nothing feels rushed or too much trouble.

The food is fabulous both pizza and charcuterie are so good and of course the whispering angel wine!

Our only complaint is we have to leave! This is most definitely a piece of paradise and our happy place to come and recharge and relax.

This was my first ever time having treatments at a spa. I had a hot stone back, neck and shoulder massage followed by a Indian head massage. I came with abit of pain in my shoulder / neck.

Jo felt the tightness in the area and After the massage I felt so much better and relaxed.

I loved the hot stones! so calming. I would definitely return again! And I would come for a spa day to try out the spa facilities 😀

Jo was friendly and welcoming making it easy for someone who hasn’t been for treatments before.

The treatment room is serene, warm and inviting creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation, and the host Jo is so welcoming and gentle! Jo began with a quick consultation to discuss my skin type and what I was hoping to achieve in order to tailor the treatments. My skin was truly pampered throughout with a double cleanse, exfoliation, a bubbling face mask, red light therapy and soothing serums. Jo elevates the treatment by offering a shoulder/ arm massage whilst face masks sit, making the most of every moment. I left with a radiant complexion, a sense of calm and an urgent desire to rebook! Booked a morning spa package for me and my sister for her 60th birthday. From moment we arrived felt welcome relaxed. Stunning retreat tucked away in Yorkshire countryside. Jo was so lovely had gone above and beyond with detail made it very special. Treatments were amazing skin so soft and left feeling so relaxed we didn’t want to leave 😀 we had pizza cooked to order and tasted great can’t say enough on how great it was can’t wait to go again. I had the most perfect day with my 2 daughters and sister yesterday. This Spa is definitely one to visit. The tranquil setting relaxes you from the off. Jo is just wonderful, she can’t do enough for you, she’s definitely the hostess with the mostest! I chose to have the facial, I can’t believe the results! My skin is glowing! I especially enjoyed feeding the alpacas, another extra touch that made rhe day so special!!!! We will definitely be back.

My breath was taken away by this beautiful Spa Retreat from the moment i saw it. The views are amazing and the alpacas give gentle calming entertainment with a burst of fun. I had a back massage which was wonderful. Jo just cant do enough for you. This little gem is so calming the food was lovely and i had such a lovely day. Its not one to miss highly recommend.

As we entered the Spa we were both just blown away by the attention to detail and the pure luxury that greets you. We both enjoyed an amazing hot stone massage , sauna, stone baked pizzas, salads, sweet treats with a few glasses of fizz and an amazing dip in the most impressive hot tub I’ve ever seen. I recently had the pleasure of visiting lovely backside spa retreat, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, I felt a wave of relaxation wash over me. The ambiance was serene, with soothing music and calming scents that set the perfect mood.

Jo who took care of us was absolutely amazing. She was attentive and skilled, providing a range of treatments that felt tailored to my needs. From massages to facials, she seemed to know exactly what would make me feel rejuvenated. It was like she could read my mind, and every touch was just right.

I also loved that the spa retreat was private, making it feel even more special, it allowed for a truly personalized experience. I left feeling refreshed and pampered, and I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to treat themselves to a day of bliss.

I attended this beautiful spa with my best friend as we wanted an experience and relaxation.

We arrived at this beautiful location and we were met by our beautiful host Jo . From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special.

The SPA is absolutely stunning . It was everything i imagined and that little bit more.

We both had a hot stone massage something I had never had before. It was absolutely lovely ,I have not felt as relaxed in a long time . I could literally feel my stress melting away. Following this we had wood fired pizzas and beautiful sweet treats . All presented beautifully. The attention to detail was absolutely gorgeous .

We then spent time in the hot tub which was delightful whilst in the hot tub the friendly alpacas came and sat in view and relaxed us ,it was so calming and tranquil . The sauna was just right to warm us through.

Jo and I am were the perfect hosts . I cannot recommend this SPA enough to anybody wanting relaxation and a little luxury

From the moment we arrived at Beckside Retreat, we knew we were in for something special. My friends and I booked the Goddess Package to celebrate International Women’s Day, and it was nothing short of magical.

Jo, our incredible host, greeted us with a refreshing ginger shot and made us feel like VIPs from the start. Her attention to detail was outstanding, and she truly went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect in every way. The facilities were immaculate, and the setting was simply breathtaking—overlooking a peaceful alpaca farm, surrounded by serene countryside views.

One of the loveliest touches was the personalised baskets waiting for us, each filled with a fluffy white robe, cozy slippers, towels and a hot water bottle—pure comfort! Even the toilet was heated, which was such a luxurious surprise!

The wood-fired pizza, dips, nibbles, and sweet treats were absolutely delicious, with thoughtful catering for vegetarians and non-drinkers in our group. The spa facilities were next-level—a sauna, a cozy log-burning fire in the snug, a fire pit table, and the most luxurious surroundings you could dream of.

The highlight for me was the hot stone massage—honestly, the best I’ve ever had. I slept better that night than I have in a long time, completely relaxed and rejuvenated.

Jo and her husband Ian have created something truly exceptional at Beckside Retreat. It’s a peaceful, luxurious escape, perfect for unwinding and reconnecting. I cannot rate this place highly enough, and I will definitely be back!

We had an amazing twilight spa last night! I’m still so relaxed. We instantly felt calm and tranquil as soon as we arrived at the beautiful Beckside Spa Retreat. Jo was very welcoming and we had the most delicious Gin cocktail on arrival! The facilities are all clearly top quality, everything is beautiful from the location and setting to the fabulous facial treatment and the abundance of delicious food!!! My skin feels amazing and looks so much brighter today. We have been to many spas but the intimacy of Beckside the personal service and attention to detail just cannot be matched. A truly unique and very special place. We cannot recommend highly enough, we are already planning when we can return next. Thank you Jo for a beautiful evening. See you soon!

I can not begin to describe how beautiful this spa is. The treatments I had were a full body hot stone massage and a facial. Jo was so lovely from start to finish with me feeling a bit shy (it was my very first spa treatment!) She made me feel comfortable and relaxed and the treatments were wonderful, the facial left my skin feeling soft and glowy, the massage left me feeling so relaxed and relieved of tension and stress. I have a condition with my spine and Jo was accommodating to that and ensured that I was comfortable the whole time.

Me and my boyfriend had planned to  stay at the onsite accommodation, Beckside Cottage, for 4 nights and we loved our time there that much, that we booked an extra night and have already enquired about our next stay. Can not recommend Beckside Spa retreat enough and we can’t wait to return in a few months to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and a spa day package together as well! Definitely our new holiday location ❤️
